    [IMG]Did anybody else know that there is actual chicken in Chicken in a Biskit crackers from Nabisco? :wideyed:

    I had always assumed that the flavoring was entirely artificial so I was surprised to read the actual list of ingredients...
    • Unbleached enriched flour (wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamine mononitrate {vitamin B}, ribolflavin {vitamin B2}, folic acid}
    • Soybean oil
    • Sugar
    • Salt
    • Dextrose
    • Monosodium glutamate
    • Onion powder
    • Baking soda
    • Soy lecithin
    • DEHYDRATED COOKED CHICKEN :chicken:
    • Hydrolyzed corn and yeast protein
    • Spice extractives (includes celery)
    • Disodium inosinate and disodium guanylate (flavor enhancers)
    • Malted barley flour
    Don't get me wrong, I like them and have eaten them for years, I just never knew that actual chicken was an ingredient in a cracker. Now I wonder how many vegetarians have eaten crackers not realizing that they were eating chicken.

    What we really need though is a chicken flavored cracker that includes bacon! Mmmmm..... chicken & bacon!
